The Pro Futuro pre-school form group for five-year-olds is a group numbering 16 children at a maximum. Our task is to prepare the small human being for undertaking learning in the first form of elementary school both in the cognitive and in the emotional sphere. We place emphasis on individual work with the child, taking into consideration its psychophysical capabilities.

The youth aged 13 – 16 years have a chance to acquire knowledge and skills in our Pro Futuro Middle School. At three levels, in classes of 16 young people each, the students of our middle school develop competences of key importance for a young European, such as: independence of action, creativity, understanding of the idea of life-long learning, national identity, knowledge of foreign languages (English, French, German, Spanish) and physical activity.

Lower primary school    

The first stage of education, covering form classes 1 to 3, is carried out using a specially developed „Live Education” project. As early as the first form, in addition to the integrated education classes, the obligatory education classes have been supplemented with English classes, facultative IT, dance, P.E, swimming, art and music classes. Between 3.30 pm and 5pm, the school offers a selection of optional classes in the form of educational projects. 

Lessons in our lower primary school are conducted using balls for students to sit on, which helps them to use all of their senses. All of our students are diagnosed by our school psychologists to develop their skills based on which brain hemisphere they are dominant in.

A very important element integrating the pupils at school is sport and recreation, physical activities such as football, judo, karate, swimming, tennis and dance. Our school competes in many different educational championships not only sport but also langauges, maths and science.

In the Springtime our school leaves on a weeks trip which is called 'Green School' where typical lessons are combined with sports and outdoor activities promoting the region we are visiting.

Pro Futuro prepares students for both internal and external exams in languages (YLE exams) and integrated teaching subjects. In our language department we have two native speakers of English who conduct communicative lessons.


Higher primary school

In the current school year 2011/2012 there are 57 pupils aged 10 to 12 years, learning in 4 classes of our higher primary school. In this stage of education (fourth through sixth form), the program introduces teaching of a second foreign language, which can be either French, German or Spanish. Between 15.30 and 17.00, the school proposes a selection of extra-curricular activities mainly in form of educational projects.

A very important element integrating our pupils is sport and recreation. We organize a vast range of physical activities for our pupils, among them:

  • „green schools” (a few days of classes during a special school trip with many additional outdoor and indoor sports activities),
  • Taking part in various sports competitions (swimming, skiing, football),
  • Specially designed training systems and classes conducted by highly qualified specialists (e.g. Total Immersion in swimming).

All the activities provided are supposed to enhance our students’ development. We firmly believe that one of the most important skills obtained in elementary education is ability to select and recycle meaningful information from reliable sources. After 3 years of our higher elementary school, our students are self – reliant – they cooperate with teachers in schools’ everyday life. 

Our school always organizes external examination sessions (e.g. Flyers from Cambridge University ESOL) . We are proud to say that our students are among the best graduates of elementary school.
